FAQ

The Answers You Need

WHAT IS GROUP REFORMER PILATES?

A Pilates reformer is a piece of exercise equipment, which is used to promote strength, length, flexibility, and balance. Our skilled instructors are great at adjusting and modifying for all fitness levels, and will show you how to use the reformer. If you have concerns about your ability to participate in a group class, please let us know and we will gladly assess whether it is appropriate.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE TO CLASS?

If it is your first time we recommend arriving 10 minutes before the class so that we can walk you through our studio and equipment. If it isn’t your first time, please arrive 5 minutes before the class.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We recommend you wear something that is comfortable to move in and you would traditionally wear to work out or do yoga in. For safety and sanitary reasons we require all clients wear non-slip socks while on the reformer. We have non-slip socks available for purchase.

WHAT IF I ARRIVE LATE?

Class reservations are valid only if you are ready and in the class studio 5 minutes prior to the class start time. In fairness to all our customers, spots will be released 2 minutes before class time.  You can cancel your reservation by logging on to your account through www.duropilates.com.  Doors will be locked at the scheduled class time.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS AND SHOWERS?

We have lockers so that you can secure your belongings during class.  We do not have showers.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

In fairness to all our customers, spots will be released 2 minutes before class time if you are not already in the studio. You can cancel your reservation by logging on to your account through www.duropilates.com or your MindBody account.
Should you have to cancel your class more than 10 hours before the scheduled time, you may do so as an "Early Cancel".  Your class will be returned to your account to be used prior to its original expiration date.  If you cancel your spot 10 hours or less before the scheduled class time, your account will be charged the class that you had booked.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO TAKE A CLASS?

We welcome anyone 13 years old or older.  We do require a parent or guardian signature on a permission form, which is available at Duro Pilates or via email at info@duropilates.com.

HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?
